Overthenextfewdays,Lilyfoundherselfthinkingaboutthatphrasemoreandmore.Sherealizedthatshehadbeensofocusedonachievinghergoalsthatshehadn'tstoppedtoconsiderwhetherthosegoalsweretrulywhatshewanted.Shehadbeenlivingherlifebasedonwhatshethoughtwasexpectedofher,ratherthanwhatwouldmakeherhappy.Lilydecidedthatsheneededtotakeastepbackandfigureoutwhatshetrulywantedinlife.Shestartedbymakingalistofallthethingsthatmadeherhappy,fromspendingtimewithlovedonestotryingnewfoods.Next,Lilybegantoevaluatehercurrentsituation.Shethoughtaboutherjobandwhetheritwassomethingthatwouldbringherlong-termhappiness.Sherealizedthatwhileitwasagoodjob,itwasn'tsomethingthatshewastrulypassionateabout.Lilydecidedtotakeariskandpursueherpassionforphotography.Shehadalwayslovedtakingphotosbuthadneverconsidereditasacareer.Shesignedupforaphotographyclassandstartedtopracticeherskillseverychanceshegot.

AsLilybegantoinvestmoretimeandenergyintoherphotography,shestartedtofeelasenseofpurposethatshehadneverfeltbefore.Shefeltaliveandfulfilledinawaythatshehadneverexperiencedinherpreviousjob.However,pursuingherpassionwasn'teasy.Lilyhadtomakesacrifices,suchasgivingupherweekendstoworkonphotographyprojectsinsteadofsocializingwithfriends.Butsheknewthatitwasworthitbecauseitwaswhatshetrulywanted.AsLilycontinuedtogrowanddevelopherphotographyskills,shebegantoattractattentionfrompotentialclients.Shestartedtoreceiveoffersforpaidprojects,whichwasadreamcometrueforher.However,despitethesuccessshewasexperiencing,Lilyknewthatshestillhadalottolearn.Shecontinuedtopushherselfandsoughtoutopportunitiestoimproveherskillsandgainexperience.

Oneday,Lilyreceivedanofferforajobataprestigiousphotographystudio.Itwasanopportunitythatsheneverthoughtwouldcomesosooninhercareer,butitwasalsoatoughdecision.Whilethejobofferedstabilityandthechancetoworkwithothertalentedphotographers,Lilyknewthatitwouldmeansacrificinghercreativefreedom.Shewouldhavetoworkwithinthestudio'sguidelinesandadheretotheirvision,ratherthanbeingabletopursueherown.ItwasadifficultdecisionforLily,butsheknewthatshehadtomakeitbasedonwhatwouldmakehertrulyhappyinthelongrun.Sheultimatelydecidedtoturndownthejobofferandcontinuepursuingherownvision.Thedecisionwasn'teasy,andLilyknewthattherewouldbechallengesahead.Butshealsoknewthatitwasimportanttostaytruetoherselfandwhatshewantedinlife.

AsLilycontinuedtoworkonherphotography,shebegantodevelopauniquestylethatsetherapartfromotherphotographers.Shefoundthatclientsweredrawntoherbecauseofherauthenticityandcreativity.Asherbusinessgrew,Lilyrealizedthatthephrase"onlywilling"hadtakenonanewmeaningforher.Itwasnolongerjustaboutbeingwillingtopursueherdreams,butalsoaboutbeingwillingtotakerisksandmaketoughdecisions.Lilyknewthatshehadmadetherightchoiceinpursuingherpassionforphotography.Shehadfoundsomethingthatgaveherpurposeandjoy,andshewaswillingtodowhateverittooktomakeitwork.AsLilyreflectedonherjourney,sherealizedthatthepowerofchoicewasaremarkablething.Ithadtheabilitytoshapeourlivesandleadusdownpathsthatweneverthoughtwerepossible.
